Before you join Toastmasters we encourage you to attend a couple of meetings and experience for yourself the wonder of Toastmasters. While virtually everyone in the world can benefit emensly by being a member of Toastmasters, not everyone will desire to join simply because public speaking is not for everyone. As a guest at one of our meeting you will not be expected to participate, however, you may if you choose to. As a member of Toastmasters you can progress at a pace that is comfortable for you but you will be encouraged to step out of your comfort zone and speak. Because of the fact that most people are more afraid of public speaking then they are of dying, occasionally a new member will drop from the program.
